For founders and CEOs at 20–150 people

You set up HubSpot in a weekend. It's been two years.

You are about to hire a Head of Growth, or a board meeting just exposed that nobody can say which of last year's sixty events produced a customer, or a fundraise is coming and the pipeline export has to survive diligence. We read the CRM and the automation platform in three weeks, read-only, and hand you a map with evidence attached — the document you give the hire on day one, or the investor before they ask. From USD $1,500, on the page, no retainer.

The moment

Why now and not after the hire

The person you hire will spend their first quarter finding out what you already half-know: stages that mean different things to sales and marketing, event leads with no owner, a "lead" field that three tools write to. That quarter comes out of their salary. The audit does it in three weeks for less than a week of it, and the hire starts at the fix.

Three questions we get asked

Answered the way we would answer them on the call.

Do I need a marketing-ops person at 50 people?

Not yet, usually. You need the stack to be legible so that whoever you hire — a Head of Growth, a fractional leader, an agency — is not guessing. A read-only audit is the cheapest way to get there, and it tells you what the first hire should actually be.

Which channel produced pipeline? HubSpot attribution says everything and nothing.

Because the original-source field was overwritten by an import or a workflow, and because events, partner deals and outbound were never stamped consistently. We find where the stamp was lost and what can be recovered; usually more than you think, rarely all of it.

Can I clean up HubSpot before a fundraise myself?

You can do the first pass with the sixty-point checklist on this site. What investors will test is whether the pipeline export reconciles to bookings and whether stage definitions exist in writing. Those two are what the audit produces, with evidence.

A finding, in the format you would get it

Finding, evidence, exposure, fix. Always in that order.

Anonymised from a real engagement; numbers rounded. Every figure in a real readout carries the export that produced it.

1

Setup

Series A SaaS, ~90 people, HubSpot only, founder-run GTM, Head of Growth req open.

2

Evidence

2,140 contacts in "lead" lifecycle stage; 1,376 created by event-list imports with no owner and no source stamp. 58 of the 60 events in the previous year could not be tied to any closed deal; two could — and they produced 31% of new ARR.

3

Exposure

The event budget was being defended as a whole. Two events were carrying it.

4

Fix

A one-line source stamp at import, an owner-required rule at lead creation, and an events report the new Head of Growth inherited on day one.

The full sample is on the worked sample audit page. The audit is from USD $1,500 — up to 100k records, credited in full against the fix — and the pricing page has every band.

Questions

The four that usually come next.

I don't want an agency or a retainer.

Neither do we, for this. The audit is a fixed price on the page, three weeks, and it ends. What follows, if anything, is a fixed-price sprint you choose after seeing the evidence.

Can't HubSpot support tell us this?

Support answers questions about HubSpot. The audit answers questions about your business's fields, stages and imports, which support has never seen.

Will the new hire be annoyed we did this first?

In our experience they are relieved. It is the map they would have spent a quarter drawing, and it is written for someone who was not on the calls.

What does it cost above 100k records?

USD $1,500 covers up to 100k records in the largest object; $2,500 to 500k. Larger portals are quoted. Full bands are on the pricing page.
